These hearing aids also have a weatherproof coating to keep out moisture and dirt. 

Savi offers the same connectivity options as the Vivia line. You can use ReSound Savi hearing aids to stream audio and make hands-free calls using Bluetooth Low Energy, so the battery doesn’t drain quickly. You can also connect them to any Auracast public broadcast system to stream audio directly to your hearing aids. Compared to the brand's previous technology, the Enzo IA amplifies speech over background noise noticeably better. We did not test these claims, but ReSound reported that users could tell a difference.

The other major upgrade on the Enzo IA is its streaming performance. Users can stream audio via Bluetooth or Auracast from up to two devices at a time. And they can do it without significantly draining the battery. According to ReSound, users can stream for half the time they’re wearing the hearing aids without the battery dropping below 70%. The Enzo IA is also telecoil compatible and designed to withstand wear and tear using the latest weatherproofing technology. It only comes in a BTE style, so it may not be the most discreet option. 

ReSound Key: The Most Budget-Friendly Option

The ReSound Key delivers good sound quality in moderately noisy settings and is available on 10 different styles of hearing aids. Its under-$1,000 price tag is comparable to many OTC hearing aids on the market today. The BTE styles are all Bluetooth compatible, making the price a solid bargain even if the technology is a few years old.

While we did not test the ReSound Key, the sound quality should be suitable for quiet to moderately noisy settings. This may not be the best choice for someone who wants clear speech in challenging environments. But for those with milder hearing loss, or who don’t spend a lot of time in crowds, it is a good, affordable option. The ReSound Key app also allows you to connect with a live hearing care professional for help or to adjust the settings of your hearing aids by video call, no appointment needed. 

How much do ReSound hearing aids cost?

Like most prescription hearing aid manufacturers, ReSound does not publish prices on its website. The price of a hearing aid will vary depending on factors like the type of battery (disposable versus rechargeable), features offered, and style. For specific pricing information, you must speak with a local hearing care professional who sells ReSound hearing aids. 

Most insurance plans, including Medicare Part A and Part B, do not cover the full cost of hearing aids.
