  • We think DreamCloud’s pressure relief and motion isolation make it a good choice for the average sleeper.
  • The DreamCloud mattresses we tested range from $699–$1,099 for a queen size.

Getting a good night’s rest is important for good health, but finding the right mattress to support your unique style of sleep—and that fits your budget—can be overwhelming. In our review of the best mattresses on the market, DreamCloud earned the title of Best Memory Foam Mattress. We believe DreamCloud mattresses do a great job of relieving pressure, staying cool, and limiting motion transfer—all at a more affordable price than many competitors.

DreamCloud is owned by Resident Home, which also owns Nectar, Awara, and Siena mattresses. Resident Home was recently purchased by Ashley Home. Because of this, you might see some overlap between the different brands and their features, but we focus on the specifics that set DreamCloud apart from the other brands.

In this DreamCloud mattress review, we’ll highlight our testers’ experiences with three different DreamCloud models, outline which types of sleepers can benefit from a DreamCloud, and explain how to choose the right one for you.

Why choose DreamCloud?

DreamCloud offers impressive pressure relief and comfort at a competitive price. We especially like DreamCloud’s quality memory foam, which earned it Best Memory Foam in our review of the best mattresses for heavy people and Best for Couples in best memory foam mattresses. Our testers liked the high-quality feel of DreamCloud’s materials and how the mattresses help address different pain issues, such as arthritis or back pain.

We were impressed by the pressure relief capabilities of all three models we tested, but especially the Classic and Premier Hybrids, which have a mix of springs and memory foam inside. Testers thought these hybrid mattresses provided plenty of support to keep their spines aligned. And the mattresses’ memory foam toppers helped keep testers comfortable.

We also like that DreamCloud offers a 365-night trial to make sure that you like the mattress. Not many brands offer free trials for a full year. Of the brands that do, DreamCloud has the lowest prices.

But DreamCloud doesn’t offer any white-glove delivery, and you’ll be responsible for lifting, moving, and unboxing the mattress. This could be difficult for someone with strength or balance issues.

Understanding our scoring

Our mattress recommendations are based on our thorough research and testing. We created two scores:

  • Accessibility score: A combined score reflecting factors that make it easier for older adults to move around and get in and out of bed.
  • Pain relief score: A combined score reflecting factors that help relieve pain while in bed.

The DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam mattress offers the motion-isolation of memory foam, but without the typical heat-trapping issue this material tends to have. Our testers liked how the tufted texture gave the mattress a high-quality look and how the fabric felt cool to the touch.

Dream Cloud Premier Memory Foam

DreamCloud Premier Hybrid mattress
  • Excellent motion isolation
  • Impressive cooling ability for a memory foam mattress
  • Comfortable, cradling memory foam
  • Pain relief score: 3.28
  • Material: Memory foam
  • Brand firmness rating: 6.5/10
  • Best sleeping position: Back

Our experience with the DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam

We were impressed by the DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam’s combination of motion isolation and cooling ability. Because memory foam is so dense, it often traps heat, which can make it harder for you to fall asleep.1 But the cooling fibers inside the Premier Memory Foam help regulate temperature surprisingly well. We tested how well the Premier Memory Foam can limit heat buildup by warming it to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (the average temperature of human skin) then waiting five minutes and measuring how much it cools down.2 The Premier Memory Foam warmed by only 6.8 degrees, earning it a cooling score of 4/5.

Given that it’s an all-foam mattress, testers were surprised how well the Premier Memory Foam kept cool. “This mattress felt pretty cool overall,” one tester said. “As I laid on this mattress I felt a more temperature-neutral feeling. It didn’t feel warm at all.”

When our testers first sat on the Premier Memory Foam, they liked that it felt high-quality. “The topper has a texture to it and a little bit of tufting,” one tester said.

We liked how the memory foam absorbed motion, earning this mattress a 5/5 in motion isolation. Good motion isolation helps keep movement from your partner or pets from waking you. One tester said, “Pretty good motion isolation. I felt a little bit of the foam pulling toward the other person, but I definitely could have slept through it. No bouncing, my body feels very much in the same position as it did before the other person got in.”

Woman lies on edge of DreamCloud mattress on her back
Testers said they would’ve liked the edges of the DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam to feel a bit more stable.

But once our testers were lying down, they thought the memory foam felt a little unstable, especially toward the edges. Several mentioned feeling “insecure” on the mattress, and that the edges sank a lot when they sat down. One said that “I definitely need to push off with my heels. The memory foam confirms to my body more making a little more effort than normal to switch positions.” Testers rated the stability of the edges a 3/5.

This sinking feeling and the need to push with your heels or arms to switch positions might make this mattress uncomfortable for people who change positions during the night. It can also make it more difficult to get out of bed. If you get out of bed frequently, you’ll most likely feel more comfortable on a mattress with better edge support.

And the Premier Memory Foam mattress earned an average of 3/5 for pressure relief because memory foam doesn’t offer the same structural support that springs do. Although 3/5 is above average, If you have pain issues, you might want to choose one of the hybrid models, which both earned near-perfect pressure relief scores.

DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam pros and cons

Pros

  • Great at limiting motion
  • Comfortable, cradling memory foam
  • Limits heat buildup

Cons

  • Edges could be stronger
  • Doesn’t relieve pressure as well as DreamCloud’s hybrids
  • May not be suitable for those with chronic pain

Who is the DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam right for?

The DreamCloud Premier Memory Foam could be right for you if you like the cradling nature of memory foam and don’t need extra stability for getting in and out of bed. This mattress is also good for hot sleepers who may have avoided memory foam in the past because of how it tends to trap heat.

If you sleep with a partner or pets, the Premier Memory Foam is a great option because you are less likely to feel movement if they get out of bed. This is because memory foam is so dense that it absorbs bounce.

Who should keep looking for their perfect mattress?

  • People who need to get out of bed frequently
  • People who need stability and support from the edge of the mattress to stand
  • People who need more pain relief

The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid: DreamCloud’s Upgraded Version of the Classic

The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid combines the Premier’s memory foam with a sturdier spring framework. Its cooling fibers and memory foam create a comfortable sleeping experience for a wide variety of sleepers. Our testers were impressed by the pressure relief and support of the mattress.

Dream Cloud Premier Hybrid

DreamCloud Premier Hybrid mattress
  • Springs give this mattress a stable framework that helps relieve pain
  • While slightly more bouncy, the mattress still has good motion isolation
  • Excellent edge support
  • Pain relief score: 4.3
  • Material: Hybrid
  • Brand firmness rating: 6.5/10
  • Best sleeping position: Back

Our experience with the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid

Testers had a great first impression of the Premier Hybrid. Even before lying down, testers noted the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid’s comfortable construction and supportive spring framework. They thought the mattress’s tufted quilting “felt amazing” and was made with “quality materials.” And they said the memory foam felt soft, durable, and responsive. “When I push my hand into the surface the memory foam bounces right back,” one tester said. “It’s soft but feels like the quality would hold up over time.”

Once the testers laid down on the mattress, they were impressed by the supportive nature of the springs. “I am feeling really good support in my trunk region,” said one tester lying on their stomach. “And I am not having any aches or pinching in my lower back. My upper back feels really great and my spine feels aligned.”

The Premier Hybrid earned almost-perfect scores for relieving pressure in each sleeping position. When testers laid on their backs, they felt great support. “This is very comfortable and I feel support on my hip and my back,” one said. “I am typically a stomach sleeper but this position feels really nice. I don't have any pressure building up.”

Testers loved it even more for back sleeping. “This is perfect. My lower back feels great,” one tester said. “The mattress's cover is filling in the gap at my lower back. It’s very comfortable on my back and my body feels equally supported.”

This type of support is important for pain relief because it reduces the pressure that builds up when your body presses into the mattress.3 For people with arthritis or other pain issues, a supportive spring mattress like the Premier Hybrid may help you have a more restful and pain-free night. “If your mattress doesn’t support your body, you’re prone to keep waking up—and that’s when the heart can’t get its natural recovery time,” said Asim Cheema, MD, an internist in Toronto, Canada. “Your heart rate and blood pressure are supposed to drop at night. But if your sleep is restless due to uncomfortable posture, then it’s hard for recovery to take place properly.”

Because the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid is made of both springs and memory foam, it has more bounce than the Premier Memory Foam model. Typically, this means you might be woken up more frequently by a partner or pet’s movements. But our testers found that the Premier Hybrid still had above average motion isolation, and rated it 4/5 (the Premier Memory Foam earned 5/5). One tester said, “This mattress feels pretty responsive and bouncy, so I was surprised how well it did with motion isolation. The most motion was when my partner changed positions. My body gently rocked but I did not feel like I was bouncing or that it would disturb my sleep.”

And when our testers moved to stand, they thought that the edge of the mattress was very sturdy and supportive. “Lying down I don't feel like I am going to fall off at all. The edge remains intact and my body feels fully supported,” said one tester, Ruth, a 70-year-old average-weight stomach sleeper with sleep apnea. “I don't feel like I am leaning or going to roll off at all. This is great for edge support overall!”

Edge support makes getting out of bed easier, so if you’re someone who may struggle with this or who needs to get up frequently during the night, this mattress might be the right choice for you.

DreamCloud Premier Hybrid pros and cons

Pros

  • Stable, sturdy edges
  • Impressive pressure relief
  • High-quality look and feel

Cons

  • Some bounce makes it less effective at motion isolation

Who is the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid right for?

The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid could be a good choice for people looking for a mattress that helps with pain relief. The supportive springs help to reduce pressure points, making this one a solid option for people who tend to wake up feeling stiff or sore.

People who shift positions frequently would also enjoy this mattress, because the springs’ bounce helps to make turning over easier. And if you need a little help with moving to stand, the sturdy edges on the Premier Hybrid are supportive and make it easier to get to your feet.

Who should keep looking for their perfect mattress?

  • Light sleepers or those sensitive to a partner's or pet’s movements
  • People who want more of a cradling, memory foam feel
  • Shoppers on a budget might want to look for less expensive options (like the Classic)

The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid: DreamCloud’s Best Value Mattress

The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid offers several of DreamCloud’s signature features—cooling fibers, a tufted cover, and memory foam—at a generally more affordable price. This mattress is a great choice for most sleepers looking to improve their rest on a budget.

Dream Cloud Classic Hybrid

DreamCloud Classic Hybrid mattress
  • Supportive springs provide pressure relief
  • The bouncy responsiveness makes it easier to move around
  • A more affordable option for budget-conscious shoppers
  • Pain relief score: 4.12
  • Material: Hybrid
  • Brand firmness rating: 6.5/10
  • Best sleeping position: Back

Our experience with the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid

The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is very similar to the Premier Hybrid, but has an inch of memory foam compared to the Premier’s 2 inches, as well as fewer cooling fibers—though both models earned a 4/5 for their cooling capabilities. It also costs about $300 less. The DreamCloud Classic does have the same combination of memory foam and springs for both responsiveness and comfort.

We found that the bounciness of the Classic Hybrid’s springs makes it a good choice for someone who likes to switch positions frequently during the night. “It was easy to switch positions,” one tester said. “I didn't feel like the mattress was fighting me in any way. The mattress is a little more bouncy so it helped me switch positions and was responsive.”

Woman lies on her side on the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid mattress
Testers said it was easy to change positions on the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid.

A responsive mattress can be nice for someone who moves or gets up a lot, but it could mean more wake-ups if you’re sleeping next to a partner or pet. This is a risk with most hybrid mattresses. If you are very sensitive to movement, a memory foam mattress might be a better choice.

We also liked the springs and how the Classic Hybrid supported testers’ spines and kept them in a neutral position. “I don’t feel any pressure on my back,” said Ruth. “My spine feels straight and I feel like I’m sitting on a cloud.”

A bed that supports your spine and keeps it neutral can potentially ease nighttime pain. “Switching to a mattress that supports your spine relieves pressure points. This helps us sleep longer and more comfortably, and wake up with less pain,” said Dr. Cheema. “I’ve had patients tell me that just changing their mattress helped them cut back on pain meds or feel more alert during the day. That’s huge for overall heart health and energy.”

While the Classic Hybrid offers great pressure relief, testers thought the edges were less stable than the Premier's. “The mattress feels like it collapses when sitting on the edge of the bed and takes a little bit to fully rise once standing up,” one tester said. “If I lean too far forward I feel like my bottom is sliding off.”

The Classic Hybrid earned an overall 3/5 for its edge support, which is above-average. But that likely means this bed is not a good option for people who need extra stability while pushing themselves to stand.

DreamCloud Classic Hybrid pros and cons

Pros

  • DreamCloud’s most affordable model
  • Supportive springs
  • High-quality cover

Cons

  • Less edge support than the Premier
  • May feel too bouncy for some

Who is the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid right for?

The DreamCloud Classic Hybrid is right for people who want a reliable mattress at an affordable price. If you’re an average sleeper—not sensitive to movement, no severe pain issues like arthritis, or don’t need help to shift position or stand up—the Classic Hybrid could be a great choice.

Other DreamCloud models to consider

Is a DreamCloud mattress right for you?

DreamCloud mattresses could be right for you if you’re looking for a comfortable mattress that doesn’t cost thousands of dollars. We found that, across all three models we tested, the mattresses were reliably supportive, not too hot, and had a high-quality look and feel. For many people, DreamCloud could be a good option.

We particularly like the DreamCloud Memory Foam for its excellent motion isolation and the fact that it stays cool, even though its material is so dense. If you’re a light sleeper or someone who runs hot but likes memory foam, this mattress is a great choice.

And we were very impressed by the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid’s edge support. A stable edge to a mattress is important for people who have balance or mobility issues. The pressure point relief of this model was also a highlight. In our March 2025 survey of sleepers with chronic pain, 52% reported that they experience lower back pain, making pressure relief one of our main concerns when testing a mattress.4

But DreamCloud doesn’t offer white-glove delivery service. You’ll either need to move and unbox the mattress yourself or find someone to help you if it’s too heavy. This can be inconvenient at best and dangerous at worst. If assistance with the mattress is important to you, you might want to consider other brands like Saatva that offer white-glove delivery. You can learn more in our Saatva mattress review.

Before choosing a mattress, ask yourself these questions:

  • What type of sleeper am I? Do I like being on my back, side, or stomach?
  • Am I a light sleeper?
  • Do I have pain issues while I sleep?
  • Do I need assistance in moving a mattress?
