NCOA Elects New Board Members

Aug. 18, 2026, Arlington, Virginia—The National Council on Aging (NCOA), the national voice for every person’s right to age well,
welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors who bring business, nonprofit, legislative, and health care expertise.
“We are excited to welcome these leaders who have exceptional experience across the public and private sectors,” said Ramsey Alwin, NCOA President and CEO. “Their commitment will strengthen our mission to create the conditions for all to age well today and into the future.”
Tauhric Brown is Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Brown, Roberts & Associates LLC. Previously, he was President and CEO at CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions in Indiana. He also serves as CEO of Bauer Family Resources, a community-based organization focused on early childhood education, youth services, juvenile justice, and family-centered services across a nine-county region in West central Indiana.
“I am honored to join NCOA’s Board of Directors and help advance its mission to ensure that every person can age well,” said Brown. “By pairing compassionate advocacy with sustainable, community-based solutions, we can help all older adults live with dignity, choice, and opportunity.”
James Dunn is counsel at FBT Gibbons LLP, and has more than two decades of experience in government relations, public policy, and legislative affairs. Having served in both the public and private sectors, he provides clients perspectives on the legislative and regulatory processes that shape public policy and business outcomes. Previously, Dunn served as Executive Director of the Tennessee Commission on Aging & Disability, where he represented the agency before legislative committees and served on numerous legislative and executive branch task forces.
“Throughout my career, I have seen how thoughtful public policy and strong partnerships can improve people’s lives,” said Dunn. “I am honored to bring my experience navigating complex legislative issues to NCOA’s Board of Directors and help advance solutions that will improve the health and economic well-being of older adults.”
Lisa Stephens is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Humana's Insurance Segment, where she leads enterprise operations, clinical excellence, and transformation initiatives across Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty businesses that serve millions of members nationwide. Throughout her 30-year career, she has led large-scale initiatives focused on quality improvement, population health, regulatory compliance, health care operations, and technology-enabled solutions that improve affordability and outcomes for individuals and communities.
“I have dedicated my career to helping people live healthier lives, and I am deeply honored to bring that passion to NCOA,” said Stephens. “I am particularly excited about leveraging my expertise to help NCOA create the conditions for 100 million happier, healthier birthdays by 2040.”
