Senior Director, PARS Equality Center, Los Angeles

Peyman Malaz is the Senior Director at PARS Equality Center and has over seven years of experience in nonprofit management. At Pars, he oversees and manages all aspects of the Los Angeles office. Prior to working at Pars, Malaz earned his master’s degree and PhD candidacy in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures with an emphasis on International Relations. He also has experience working as a community manager in UCLA’s residential life offices, as a researcher at Princeton’s Iran data portal, and as an adjunct faculty member at Occidental College in Glendale. He also serves on various boards to enhance the community and assist refugees and immigrants.
