Laura Gamba is an expert in quality improvement, diabetes management, and Medicare & Medicaid programming. As a Certified Diabetes Empowerment Education Senior Trainer, Laura teaches self-management classes for adults with diabetes and pre-diabetes and also trains new coaches. She previously worked at the Health Services Advisory Group for 16 years, directing four scopes of work and five innovation projects with the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including the Florida diabetes contract. She now focuses on training others as part of the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program™ (DEEP™).
