Articles ByKatie Zahm has experience coordinating, implementing, and facilitating evidence-based health promotion programs. She has worked at two area agencies on aging, where she operated an ACL CDSME grant and an ACL Falls grant. Zahm has experience building the Illinois Community Care Hub (CCH). Her areas of expertise include: program implementation and management; capacity building; leader and participant recruitment and retention; network engagement; and sustainability. She holds a master's degree in public administration and nonprofit Management from American University, and a certification as a project management professional (PMP). She is a Master trainer in the Self-Management Resource Center (SMRC) CDSMP program and a trained leader in DSMP and CPSMP. In addition to the SMRC suite of programs, she has experience managing Active Choices, HomeMeds, Fit & Strong, a Matter of Balance, Tai Chi, Bingocize and the Feeling Fit Club.
