Get Ready for Falls Prevention Awareness Week

Falls Prevention Awareness Week (FPAW) is a time to raise awareness about falls, their risks, and ways we can create a world where aging without fear of falling is possible for everyone. This year's FPAW is happening September 22-26, 2025.

Want to get involved? Explore NCOA's FPAW Toolkit to find resources geared towards professionals for sharing falls prevention messages and materials with your network. The below series of four webinars will introduce you to the purpose and content of the toolkit and share stories from three Falls Prevention Awareness Week Days of Action that were held in 2024. The takeaways from these events in Texas, Washington, and New Mexico may be helpful in the implementation of similar events in your community.
