The Age Well Planner Story

Founded in 1950, the National Council on Aging (NCOA) is the nation’s longest-serving national organization focused on aging. NCOA is an expert in providing digital tools to help older adults maximize their budgets. Our BenefitsCheckUp® tool has helped more than 7.8 million people find $30.5 billion in benefits. Based on decades of experience, NCOA created Age Well Planner to provide a trusted resource for adults to plan their retirement journey and ensure they can meet their goals for healthy aging.

NCOA is a trusted national leader working to ensure that every person can age well. Since 1950, our mission has not changed: Improve the lives of millions of older adults, especially those who are struggling. By offering online tools and collaborating with a nationwide network of partners, NCOA is working to impact the health and economic security of 40 million older adults by 2030, especially women, people of color, LGBTQ+, low-income, and rural individuals.
