Jane Dunbar is a writer and copy editor with 30 years of experience translating complex ideas into clear, compelling content across health care, technology, consumer products, aging and caregiving, higher education, and public policy. Jane earned her master’s degree from Boston College, where she also taught two semester-long courses in effective writing for first-year students. She specializes in understanding audiences and crafting effective messages for print and digital platforms, from articles and white papers to marketing campaigns and educational materials. When she's not wordsmithing, Jane is usually on her bike in the woods, traveling with her partner, or resisting the urge to cheat on the New York Times crossword puzzle.

The Story Behind a Happier, Healthier Birthday

Every happier, healthier birthday starts with a story. Tell us about a moment, a person, or an experience that has shaped how you think about aging. Your story may be featured on NCOA.org or in our newsletters and social channels.
