Dustin Prestridge is a research assistant with the University of Washington’s CREATIV Lab and a returning adult psychology student. Before entering research, he spent years working in home care, experiences that continue to shape his writing about caregiving, loneliness, and healthy aging. Living with early-onset Parkinson’s disease has given him a personal perspective on dignity, dependence, and the importance of human connection in care.
