April 30, 2026, Arlington, Virginia—The National Council on Aging (NCOA), the national voice for every person’s right to age well, congratulates NCOA Treasurer Connie Weaver on her selection as Chair-Elect of its Board of Directors. Her term will begin on July 1, 2026.
“Connie has been an incredibly valuable member of the Board, and we’re thrilled to have her as our Chair-Elect,” said Ramsey Alwin, NCOA President and CEO. “With her appointment, the NCOA Board is well-positioned to help us achieve our new mission of creating the conditions for all to age well.”
Weaver brings strategic vision and operational expertise to mid and early-stage companies and mission-driven organizations, serving as a board member, advisor, and mentor. She partners with founders and leadership teams to drive growth strategy, strengthen brand visibility, engage investors and donors, and execute high-impact go-to-market initiatives. Drawing on a distinguished career in large enterprises, she delivers agile support that accelerates innovation and measurable results—particularly in sectors advancing financial security, healthy aging, and long-term social impact.
In addition to NCOA, Weaver serves on the boards of Make-A-Wish America, National Endowment for Financial Education, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Oslo Impact LLC, and several early-stage companies. She is recognized for aligning mission with measurable outcomes and for helping organizations build enduring connections with the communities they serve.
Weaver is former Chief Marketing Officer of Equitable, where she aligned marketing, digital, and insights-and-analytics to advance business objectives and strengthen the strategic value and market positioning of the company. She played a key role in the launch and market positioning of the Equitable brand.
Prior to joining Equitable, Weaver served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at TIAA, where she oversaw the transformation of the company’s marketing strategy, digital experience, and brand. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at The Hartford, and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of AT&T.
