NCOA has been awarded a 5-year, $6.5 million grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL) to establish a new technical resource center to support the nation’s direct care workforce, enabling older adults, people with disabilities, and their families and caregivers to lead healthy and independent lives.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping home care settings faster than most employers, policymakers, and workers have had time to prepare. Scheduling tools, documentation assistants, health monitoring devices, and workforce analytics platforms are already changing how direct care workers perform their jobs—yet critical questions about adoption, ethics, and federal direction remain largely unresolved. 

During this webinar, participants will:

  • Hear directly from an association for community-based IDD service provider on how members, across residential, day, in-home, and consumer-directed supports, are approaching AI today
