Both COVID and flu vaccinations are essential to helping keep everyone as healthy as possible. NCOA received $50 million in federal funding from the U.S. Administration for Community Living to enlist its national network of senior centers and community-based organizations to expand access to lifesaving vaccines. A diverse group of community-based organizations are participating in the vaccine intiatiative.

As part of the effort to make it as easy as possible for older adults and people with disabilities to get their shots and protect their health, select senior centers are receiving $10,000 to support COVID and flu vaccination. Each participating center will support the administration of a minimum of 100 vaccines in their community. Senior centers have been on the front lines of the vaccination effort, proving their ability to reach people in meaningful ways.
