Webinar: State of the Science: Health Care Policy, and Implications for Adults Aging with Long-Term Disability (Session 3)

As the U.S. population ages, an increasing number of Americans with disabilities acquired early in life are living into their later years. These individuals are said to be “aging with disability” and represent a growing population with unique healthcare needs. This population challenges our usual definitions of what it means to age “successfully”, and calls for new policies and approaches to maximize access to healthcare, long-term services and supports, and evidence based programming.

This webinar series was hosted with support from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) and the National Council on Aging (NCOA).
