Aging service providers across the country are striving to address older adults’ behavioral health needs in community settings—and there are evidence-based programs that can help. Listen to this webinar for an overview of two programs that address depression among older adults, PEARLs and Healthy IDEAS, and how they can be implemented to both address mental health needs and also reduce barriers to participation in other activities. Speakers compare the similarities and differences between the two programs to provide guidance on what might work best in your community. Best practices for pairing evidence-based behavioral health programs with services focused on chronic disease self-management education or physical activity will also be discussed.
