There are over 159 million adults employed in the United States, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and research has found that between 22-49% of employees are managing at least one chronic condition. In response to the growing need for chronic disease self-management among the workforce, an adaptation of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program has been developed to support implementation.
