There are over 159 million adults employed in the United States, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and research has found that between 22-49% of employees are managing at least one chronic condition. In response to the growing need for chronic disease self-management among the workforce, an adaptation of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program has been developed to support implementation. Join this webinar for an overview of the Live Healthy, Work Healthy program, outcomes from evaluation, and recommendations for embedding the workplace program in communities. Presenters will highlight strategies for identifying implementation sites, recruiting participants, and collecting program data.
