Medicare Advantage plans are another way for people eligible for Medicare to receive coverage for medical services. However, enrollment in Medicare is limited to certain times.
In 2020, the number of people 65 and older in the United States is projected to grow to 55 million – 16 percent of the population. As the nation has continued to gray, it has also grown more racially and ethnically diverse. Encouraging these efforts to continue outreach to Americas underserved populations who are at stake of being left behind in reaching equitable access to healthcare.
