Most falls are preventable! Falls Prevention Awareness Day provides a great opportunity to spread this message to older adults, health care providers, community-based services providers, and others. The National Falls Prevention Resource Center will share new resources and tools to use in your falls prevention efforts and Falls Prevention Awareness Day activities. Innovative partnerships among community-based organizations and health care entities such as emergency medical services, hospitals, managed care organizations and others for Falls Prevention Awareness Day and beyond will be featured.
