January 17, 2017 UTC @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Note: This event will be rescheduled in 2017. We will announce the new date and time as soon as it is determined.

Older adults may experience unique risk factors that can lead to substance abuse or misuse, including a personal loss, limited physical mobility, chronic conditions, pain, or depression and anxiety. This webinar will discuss prevention, evaluation, and treatment options for an aging population. Presenters will highlight the Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health, new resources from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and lessons learned from implementing the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) program.
