Helping Aging Services Work Better
Providing opportunities for professionals to share, learn, and grow — together
America has a strong network of community organizations dedicated to helping older adults age well.
But each year, these organizations face new challenges — a rapidly growing population of older adults in need and fewer resources to serve them.
We bring aging services professionals together to address the challenges they face every day. And we give them the tools and resources to be successful.
- Our Aging in America conference, Webinars, and e-newsletters give you the chance to learn what's new in aging services — and what works.
- Our online communities and interest groups allow you to exchange ideas, become a leader, and advance the issues you care about most.
- Our Community Action & Volunteering initiatives help nonprofits tap a vital resource — older volunteers.
- We're dedicated to strengthening senior centers by offering best practices, professional development, advocacy, research, national standards, and the National Institute of Senior Centers.
- We offer innovative strategies for funding and sustainability to help nonprofits achieve more with less.
Protecting the Older Americans Act
The Older Americans Act (OAA) funds critical services that make a real difference in the lives of millions of older adults each day. Services like meals, job training, senior centers, caregiver support, and transportation. We're calling on Congress to fund the OAA to reflect the growing needs of our aging population. Help us protect the OAA.
