Funding for the Older Americans Act (OAA)--the backbone of services to America’s aging population--has been stagnant for years.

The over-60 population keeps growing, inflation takes a big bite, and OAA funding for basic needs--like food, jobs and care--remains low.

NCOA is seeking 9 percent in '09--a 9 percent increase in funding for 2009.
