Elder Justice
Up to 5 million older Americans are abused every year. Elder abuse robs older adults of independence and dignity.
Perpetrators include children, other family members, and spouses-as well as staff at nursing homes and assisted living and other facilities.
We've sparked a grassroots movement to put an end to this tragedy and urge Congress to enact tougher elder abuse laws.
