Diffusion of Innovations
Helping community organizations offer cutting-edge programs
We help community organizations find and implement innovative programs that improve the lives of older adults.
Many organizations want to offer these programs, but don't have the resources to do it successfully.
To help, we've developed a tool that determines whether an organization has the capacity and willingness to implement a new program successfully.
The Innovation Readiness Assessment tool (IRA) also helps organizations identify areas where they may need technical assistance — either to help them prepare for implementation or facilitate the implementation process.
The IRA is an online tool that can be customized to specific programs. To date, we've developed versions for several innovative, evidence-based health promotion programs. We plan to offer it to a wider audience soon.
