Giving older adults tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Healthy habits mean a healthy life. For older adults, they also can mean staying independent longer. Research shows healthy habits can delay disability by as much as 10 years.

We partner with national sponsors to bring free health education programs right to older adults in the community-empowering them to live better.

How We Help

  • Pack Your Bag for Rx Safety
Most older adults take multiple medications every day-which can lead to dangerous interactions. We partner with CVS/pharmacy to give older adults free counseling on how to manage medications safely. Learn how your organization can participate.
  • Hope for Those with Shingles
Getting shingles is painful enough. But millions continue to suffer years later. We helped re-launch a Web site to give patients help and hope. Get resources to help.
  • Diabetes Screening: Medicare Benefits for Better Health
Many older adults do not take advantage of Medicare's free diabetes screening test. Our program teaches them how. See how.
