2011 National Falls Prevention Awareness Day Proclamation

The 2011 National Falls Prevention Awareness Day Resolution. Text of Senate Resolution 284: A resolution designating September 23, 2011, as "National Falls Prevention Awareness Day" to raise awareness and encourage the prevention of falls among older adults. This proclamation marks the forth year the Senate has observed National Falls Prevention Awareness Day.  

The resolution was sponsored by Senator Herb Kohl [D-WI] and cosponsored by Senator Richard Blumenthal [D-CT], Senator Susan Collins [R-ME], Senator Michael Enzi [R-WY], Senator Barbara Mikulski [D-MD], and Senator Bernard Sanders [I-VT].
