Are you a benefits counselors who helps older adults to access programs and services? Take this brief quiz and see how well you know some of the benefits programs.

  1. Dual eligibles (people who receive both Medicaid and Medicare) are automatically eligible for the Medicare Part D Low-Income Subsidy (Extra Help).
  2. Medicare Part B covers the shingles vaccine for beneficiaries.
  3. A person can choose how to get their Medicare Parts A and B benefits – either through Original Medicare or through a private Medicare Advantage health plan.
