For Seniors

These resources may be good for your health:

  • Help Paying for Prescription Drugs

Learn about Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D) on the My Medicare Matters Web site that NCOA sponsors. The site will tell you how to pick and join a plan.

If you need help paying for your prescription drugs, go to NCOA's BenefitsCheckUp to find out if you are eligible for a variety of public and private benefit programs.

NCOA's Filling the Gaps in Medicare article (pdf file) will tell you about Medicare supplement (or Medigap) plans and their benefits. It also will tell you how to choose the right policy.

Need personal help?  See if there is an Access to Benefits Coalition office near you. NCOA chairs this coalition, which is dedicated to helping seniors reduce their prescription drug costs.

  • Help Paying for Health Care

NCOA’s BenefitsCheckUp can help you find benefits programs to help save you money on medical costs, prescription drugs, and more.

  • Health Tips

To learn about health issues that seniors may have, see our health tips

Our latest campaign, Connect the Dots: Diabetes and Your Heart - How Medicare Helps, helps you learn about the link between diabetes and high blood pressure.

  • More Health Info - and Financial and Lifestyle Tips

See health, financial, and lifestyle tips in our Senior Focus newsletter, written especially for seniors.
