Evidence-based health promotion programs are proven to be efficient and effective interventions. This is an opportunity for you to get up to speed on the national movement that is taking place as aging services providers and community-based organizations embed these programs throughout states across the country. Learn what exactly constitutes an evidence-based program, and how you can implement one in your own organization.

Speaker:
Julie Kosteas is the Senior Program Associate at the National Council on Aging. For 4 years, she has provided training and technical assistance to states and community-level organizations implementing evidence-based health programs for older adults. She also manages a variety of projects for the Center for Healthy Aging, primarily overseeing the evaluation activities of these projects. Julie received her MPH from Yale University and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Gerontology Certification from the College of the Holy Cross.
