Graduate Student Fellowship Program: How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in the our Graduate Student Fellowship Program! The NCOA office is moving to Crystal City, Virginia in January 2015, directly above the Crystal City Metro Station.

What to Submit 

To apply, please send an email with your name as the subject line to fellows@ncoa.org. The email must include the following items:

  1. A cover letter that addresses all of the requirements listed below
  2. A copy of your current resume
  3. A writing sample
  4. Two references, including at least one from a recent internship or employment supervisor

Cover Letter Requirements

Your cover letter must include the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Email/Phone
  4. School
  5. Degree
  6. Expected graduation date
  7. Specify your interest in one or more of the following areas: healthy aging, economic security, public policy

After You Apply

Suitable candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Applications for the 2015 summer program close on Jan. 26.
